Lottery tickets are registrations tied to one character and one draw, not inventory items. This guide remains a draft while ticket charging, draw execution, offline notices, claims, rollover, and restart recovery await the complete in-game matrix.
Review the current draw
Use /lottery anywhere in character to review the current pool, live terms, tickets held, time remaining, and latest result. Current values and schedule are authoritative and are not copied here.
Buy tickets
Enter an eligible Store business and use the buy action under /lottery with a valid quantity. The store must be open to the public, although members can use their own closed store where current rules permit.
Payment uses carried cash and enters the city prize pool. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable character entries.
Ticket purchase and interruption recovery remain under verification. If the result is unclear, compare /lottery and /balance before another purchase. Trust a refund only when the final result explicitly confirms that the exact ticket payment was returned; an unresolved result is retained for staff review instead.
Understand the draw
The draw schedule persists through restarts, and overdue processing runs after boot. Ticket sales close while a due draw executes.
When tickets exist, one wins and the result is broadcast before the next draw opens. If no tickets were sold, no winner is chosen and the pool carries forward. Prize money remains in the pool until claimed rather than moving at draw time.
This guide does not describe internal random selection or operational timing.
Claim a prize
The most recent recorded winner can use the claim action under /lottery before the next draw executes. A successful claim pays the recorded prize into the winner’s bank and cannot be repeated.
Offline winner notices remain under verification; inspect the latest result directly after login. An unclaimed prize expires when the next draw runs and stays in the pool for rollover.
Recover from uncertainty
- Purchase is refused: confirm the eligible store, carried cash, and current ticket terms.
- Purchase is unclear: compare held ticket count and cash before another request.
- A draw appears overdue: reopen
/lotteryafter processing; do not attempt purchases during closure. - Winner notice is absent: inspect the latest result directly after login.
- Claim is unclear: compare current lottery status and bank balance before retrying.
- A claim reports an unresolved result: do not force another draw or claim; preserve the message for support.
Exact ticket prices, caps, draw timing, pool values, and claim windows are intentionally omitted.
