Pawnshops buy and resell allowlisted ordinary goods while retaining ownership and custody history. Concurrent purchase, interruption recovery, pricing, and counter-flow coverage is complete. This guide remains a draft while closed-shop stock management and the in-game verification pass remain outstanding.
Check item eligibility
Pawnshops accept only current allowlisted ordinary goods. Restricted, behavior-specific, and dedicated illicit-fence items are refused. Stackable goods cross the counter as complete inventory rows; partial-stack listings are not supported.
Use a fresh /inventory reference and current shop feedback rather than copied catalogues or price limits.
Sell an item immediately
Meet an eligible employee inside an open pawnshop and use /pawnsell with the held item and agreed amount. The employee accepts or declines the standard offer.
On acceptance, wait for the final result showing that the item moved into pawnshop custody and the seller received carried cash. The item remains unpriced until authorized staff list it. Seller and employee must be separate eligible accounts.
Create a consignment
Use /pawnconsign with a nearby eligible employee. Acceptance moves the item into shop custody without immediate seller payment. The seller retains its ownership interest, and the listing captures the seller’s amount and current shop cut.
Decline, expiry, disconnect, or changed custody moves neither item nor money.
Keep the offered stack exactly as it was for both /pawnsell and /pawnconsign: dropping, storing, or adding units before the employee accepts fails the offer, and nothing is paid or moved. Make a fresh offer with the current stack instead.
Browse and buy
Use /pawnstock in an open pawnshop and select a fresh current listing through /pawnbuy. Wait for the final purchase result before treating money or custody as changed.
Shop-owned proceeds enter the till. Consignment proceeds go to the seller’s cash account, including while offline, with the captured shop cut entering the till. The seller or another character on the same account cannot buy that consignment; reclaim it instead.
Price, reclaim, or delist
Authorized staff can price or reprice shop-owned stock with /pawnprice; they cannot rewrite a consignor’s price. A seller can use /pawnreclaim for an unsold consignment while the shop is open and carrying room exists.
After the applicable lifecycle, authorized staff can use /pawndelist to convert unreclaimed goods into unpriced shop stock. Current closed-shop management cannot reliably obtain fresh stock references despite the intended design and remains unavailable for publication.
A changed /pawncut value applies to consignments taken in after the change. It never reprices a listing already on the shelf, which keeps the cut captured when it was accepted.
Recover and understand traceability
Offers do not survive reconnect. Listings and pawn custody do. A business cannot be sold while pawnshop items remain.
- Refresh
/pawnstockbefore every listing action. - After unclear payment, compare item custody, buyer/seller cash, and till state before retrying.
- If the counter refuses further transactions and requests support, stop transacting and retain the listing and result.
- On-duty authorized law members may inspect the audited register at the premises; resale does not erase custody history.
Exact allowlists, price ceilings, cut values, grace periods, and audit internals are intentionally omitted.
