ATMs extend ordinary cash-and-bank transactions beyond the main bank counter. Payday processes eligible periodic income and deductions into a statement. This guide remains a draft while the final ATM catalogue, organization payroll, and job-earnings walkthroughs await in-game verification.
Use an active ATM
An active ATM has the configured object, dollar-sign map marker, and nearby command label. Decorative cash machines do not provide banking.
- Stand close to the active ATM in the same interior and world.
- Use
/bankto move carried cash into the bank or/withdrawto move bank money into cash. - Wait for the final result.
- Use
/balanceto verify cash and bank funds before another transaction.
The same commands work at the established bank counter. If an ATM is absent after a restart or refuses the location, use the bank counter or another visibly active ATM rather than assuming a decorative object is functional.
For transaction completion and ambiguous-result recovery, see Money, banking, and paying players.
Read payday progress and statements
Use /payday to review the approximate next processing sweep and the character’s visible eligibility progress. Exact timing and eligibility values belong to the current interface rather than this guide.
Activity currently accumulates while the character is connected and in character. If the character is not yet eligible at a sweep, no payday statement is processed and progress continues accumulating while eligible play continues.
An eligible payday processes applicable income before deductions, then shows a statement and resulting bank balance. A line with no applicable activity means no supported income or deduction completed in that statement; it is not by itself a transaction failure.
Disconnecting and reconnecting do not provide an extra payday, and a character who has only just connected is skipped by a sweep until they have built up enough eligible play. Use the displayed progress rather than estimating from an earlier session.
Recognize where established earnings appear
Different activities settle to different places:
- established trucker completions pay carried cash;
- completed mechanic customer repairs settle cash between the participants;
- taxi fares settle from available passenger cash to driver cash;
- an eligible organization salary is deposited into the character’s bank;
- property rent enters the property account when a due payment completes, and the owner withdraws it through the property workflow.
Employment can persist while a job route, supplied job vehicle, fare, shift, or temporary offer does not. Finish active work normally before disconnecting and use the relevant job guide for its exact completion evidence.
An organization pays a salary only once its leadership has set up payroll; membership on its own earns nothing. Where payroll is set, only the character’s highest eligible organization paycheck is selected. Public payroll requires the applicable duty eligibility, while self-funded payroll can pay nothing when the organization lacks funds. A payday is not a promise that every possible income source will pay on every sweep.
Understand deductions safely
Supported systems can attempt their own due deductions during payday. Their owning guide must explain the obligation and recovery path. Do not infer the cause of a deduction from an unrelated balance change; use the statement and the relevant account or status view.
Southland’s launch payday pays no passive bank interest and charges no recurring flat or wealth tax; neither appears on a statement. Mutable economy values are intentionally omitted from this guide.
Recover from an unclear result
- Do not repeat or reverse a movement immediately.
- Check
/balanceand the relevant job, organization, or property account. - For a participant transaction, ask the other character to inspect the relevant visible balance or result on their side.
- Preserve the activity, amount, participants, location, approximate time, and exact visible result if the state remains unclear.
- Use
/helpfor the current command form rather than guessing.
