House robbery creates a temporary session against an eligible residential property and generates its own traceable portable loot. It does not authorize taking existing furniture, property storage, cash, weapons, drugs, or unrelated possessions. This guide remains a draft because entry interruption, session completion, and fencing still need real-client verification.
Start only at the intended property
Stand at the exact property entrance and use /robhouse only when ready. The current command begins the attempt immediately; there is no separate confirmation prompt.
Remain at the entrance and avoid movement, combat, incapacitation, or unrelated activities while entry resolves. The server decides whether the property and character are eligible. This guide does not publish chances, timing, cooldowns, security checks, or loot composition.
Enter and review generated loot
The generated-loot claim flow remains unavailable for ordinary use until its interruption behavior is fully verified. Do not use draft loot actions outside an explicitly supervised test.
Listing and taking loot both require standing inside the robbed property itself; both refuse from the doorway or anywhere else. A session yields at most one taken item, so choose the slot deliberately.
When the flow becomes available, use only the normal property entry and the current /robhouse prompts. Wait for the final item result and check /inventory before taking any further action. An accepted claim commits the inventory item and its robbery provenance together; a refused claim leaves the slot available to retry after correcting the stated problem.
Generated loot is newly created for this mechanic. Existing placed furniture and player storage remain separate custody and are not robbery loot.
Leave and cancel the session
Leave through the normal /exit flow. Exiting with a committed claimed item completes the session; exiting without one cancels it without inventing a successful theft. If the server cannot save that outcome, it refuses the exit and tells you to retry rather than leaving an active session behind.
Use /robhouse cancel before leaving when you deliberately want to abandon an active attempt. Any item whose claim already completed remains traceable; cancellation does not erase established custody.
Handle a stolen item
Use /inventory to identify the claimed item. Ordinary item rules then apply:
/givecreates a voluntary recipient offer;/dropplaces a persistent world item; and/pickuptakes an eligible world drop.
The item remains traceable through its custody history. This draft does not publish fencing instructions, payout values, provenance-clearing extensions, or evidence internals.
Respect the scene boundary
The mechanic authorizes only its temporary entry and generated loot flow. It does not force outcomes on occupants or grant permission to use OOC knowledge about ownership, occupancy, access, or security.
Item-transfer consent remains explicit through /give. Another player does not have to accept stolen property.
Recover from interruption
- Entry does not complete: move no farther and use the current refusal; cancel any remaining session instead of restarting immediately.
- The character is hurt or incapacitated: do not assume the robbery cleared automatically. Resolve the health scene and cancel if the session remains.
- Loot state changes: refresh the loot list rather than repeating an old slot.
- Item creation is refused: correct the stated carry or availability problem, refresh the loot list, and retry only while the session remains active.
- Exit is refused: wait briefly and retry. The server has kept you inside because it could not save the terminal robbery outcome.
- Disconnect or restart occurs: the session is cancelled; any already created item remains in custody.
- Fencing is unavailable: retain or transfer the item only through established custody flows; do not use unfinished fence actions as a promised completion path.
Property-owner robbery history and enforcement procedures remain outside this public draft.
