Trucking is a repeating, system-funded delivery job. It supplies its own temporary truck and pays completed scripted deliveries directly into carried cash; you do not need to own a truck, trailer, rank, or business stock.

Take the trucker job

  1. Use /jobs to review your current employment and locate the Trucker signup.
  2. Travel to the Ocean Docks freight yard and stand at the signup point.
  3. Use /getjob there.
  4. Confirm that Trucker is now the current character’s one job.

Employment persists when you disconnect. The temporary truck and active scripted delivery do not.

Start a delivery shift

Return to the exterior freight yard before starting work.

  1. Use /work at the depot.
  2. Wait for the supplied truck to appear and for your character to be seated as its driver.
  3. The supplied truck starts with its engine running; use /engine only if you need to toggle it.
  4. Read the assigned pickup and drop-off information before leaving.

The supplied truck belongs to the shift. It does not enter /v, grant a permanent vehicle key, or become a substitute for a personal vehicle.

Complete deliveries

  1. Drive the supplied truck into the assigned pickup checkpoint.
  2. Wait for the load stage to confirm before leaving.
  3. Drive to the assigned drop-off checkpoint.
  4. Enter it with the same supplied truck and wait for the unload result.
  5. A completed drop-off reports its result and assigns the next scripted run.
  6. Continue or end the shift when finished.

Only a completed drop-off earns that run’s pay. This guide does not duplicate route rewards or formula details; check /balance after the success message when confirming income.

System-funded trucking pay is bounded over a rolling period. Once you reach that limit, deliveries still complete and still assign the next run, but they pay a reduced amount or nothing until the delivery message says pay has resumed. Read each delivery result rather than assuming every run paid in full.

End the shift cleanly

Use /endshift when you are finished or cannot continue. Ending the shift removes the temporary truck, current checkpoint, and incomplete scripted delivery. An incomplete run is not paid.

Leaving the truck by itself does not cleanly end the implemented shift. If you become separated from it, use the shift-ending flow rather than abandoning the state. Leaving the Trucker job or disconnecting also tears down the supplied truck and scripted run.

Recover after an interruption

  • Work will not start: confirm Trucker is your current job, return to the freight-yard start point, and make sure no shift is already active.
  • The supplied truck is missing or unusable: end the shift, return to the depot, and start a fresh one.
  • A checkpoint does not advance: confirm you are driving the supplied shift truck and that the previous load or unload stage completed.
  • You ended before drop-off: the incomplete run is cleared without payment; begin a new shift when ready.
  • You disconnected: employment remains, but the temporary truck and scripted delivery do not. Return to the depot and start fresh.
  • A delivery paid less than expected or nothing: you have reached the rolling earnings limit. The message says roughly when pay resumes; keep playing or return later rather than restarting shifts to chase it.
  • A delivery reports that payment failed: the shift is ended deliberately. Do not start another until staff have looked at it.
  • Cash looks unclear: check /balance and the final delivery message before beginning another run.
